Voices of Tomorrow Goals:
The goal for Voices of Tomorrow is to be syndicated nationally, thus reaching an even greater audience. However, the target demographic for the production company will remain as the family unit. The current range of viewers is the family unit and twelve to eighteen year olds, but this varies with different episodes. Parents are also targeted viewers of Voices of Tomorrow. Ninon believes that if parents can watch the show with their children, her message will come across more effectively.
KidsTalk conducts several promotions to help attract new viewers, including commercials, concerts, fundraisers,
and a website. In addition, KidsTalk sends out videotapes of Voices of Tomorrow to different festivals and award competitions such as the Telly Awards, Communicator Awards and Videography Awards. The show has won 48 awards, which has added credibility while acting as a premise from which the production company can use to promote the show, thus attracting new viewers.
Growth Strategy
As a television show, Voices of Tomorrow has grown at a great rate. Back when Voices of Tomorrow first aired, the pilot episode was broadcasted repeatedly the span of a few months. Now, it is viewed daily in the Los Angeles County and in Beverly Hills.
KidsTalk also trademarked its logo and name on products such as a full clothing line, videos, compact discs, cassettes, cd’s, pencils, pens, and stationery. KidsTalk is looking to grow through a clothing line and international distribution, KidsTalk is considering opening up offices in other parts of the world, including London and New York, and producing an international show. Ninon plans on having Voices of Tomorrow go into syndication, meaning distributors would pay to air her show nationally. By finding a national distributor, Ninon believes she would gain more exposure for the show and cause in helping our younger generation.
The KidsTalk Foundation also contributes college scholarships to youth in the Los Angeles community. In collaboration with The Los Angeles Unified School District and UCLA, a documentary of Cesar Chavez was just completed and KidsTalk has plans to produce more documentaries. Ninon has been approached by organizations to make documentaries relating kids and teens to serious topics.
